 Meet Tim Rathbun

Born and raised in Alaska, Tim brings more than 20 years of experience building, maintaining, and leading telecommunications infrastructure projects across the state. As a lifelong Alaskan, he understands firsthand the challenges of working in remote locations, navigating difficult terrain, managing complex logistics, and delivering results in Alaska's demanding weather conditions.

Throughout his career, Tim has led field crews, coordinated project execution, and maintained a strong commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency. His combination of local knowledge, hands-on technical expertise, and proven leadership allows him to anticipate challenges, develop practical solutions, and keep projects moving forward.

Known for his reliability, craftsmanship, and dedication to mentoring others, Tim takes pride in helping connect Alaska's communities and supporting the infrastructure that keeps them running. Outside of work, he is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys spending time on Alaska's rivers and lakes fishing and exploring everything the Last Frontier has to offer.

Meet Josh Chapek

Originally from Oregon, Josh brings more than 20 years of experience in Alaska, in the by telecommunications and outside line industry, with extensive expertise in directional drilling and underground utility installation. Throughout his career, he has successfully completed projects in a variety of conditions, developing a reputation for delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality results. 

His combination of technical knowledge, hands-on field experience, and practical problem-solving skills allows him to navigate complex drilling challenges while keeping projects on schedule. Known for his reliability, professionalism, and commitment to quality workmanship, Josh takes pride in helping build the infrastructure that keeps communities connected.

Outside of work, Josh enjoys spending time on the golf course and is a dedicated Oregon Ducks fan, always cheering on his team during football season.

Meet Doug Knecht

Doug brings extensive experience as both an Inside Wireman and Outside Telecommunications Lineman, combining strong technical expertise with proven field leadership. After completing his electrical apprenticeship in 2016, he has continued to build a diverse career leading crews on projects throughout Alaska, including work in some of the state's most remote and challenging mountain-top locations.

Known for his commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and team development, Doug excels at coordinating complex projects while keeping crews productive and focused. His hands-on experience across multiple trades gives him a unique ability to solve problems in the field and ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

When he's not leading crews, Doug enjoys spending time with friends and family watching football and is always ready to share his impressive knowledge of the game. His passion for football is matched only by his dedication to his team and the work he does every day.

Meet Ken Rufkahr

Ken is a decorated U.S. Army veteran who served overseas and brings a diverse background in both outside telecommunications line work and heavy equipment operation. His military service instilled the discipline, adaptability, and teamwork that continue to guide his approach to every project.

Originally from Missouri, Ken and his family relocated to Alaska, where he has continued building his career while embracing the opportunities and challenges of life in the Last Frontier. Whether operating equipment, supporting field operations, or working alongside a crew, Ken is known for his reliability, strong work ethic, and willingness to step in wherever needed to help get the job done.

One of Ken's greatest strengths is his ability to connect with people. He has a natural talent for building relationships and making friends wherever he goes, creating lasting connections with coworkers, clients, and community members alike.

Outside of work, Ken enjoys spending time with his family coaching his sons football team, and taking advantage of Alaska's outdoor lifestyle through fishing, hunting, and exploring the wilderness he now proudly calls home

Meet Mike Wilson 

Mike is a Master Mechanic! When equipment goes down, Mike is the person the team counts on to get it back up and running. As a Master Mechanic, he plays a vital role in keeping our fleet, heavy equipment, and support vehicles operating safely and reliably in Alaska's demanding conditions.

With years of hands-on experience and deep mechanical expertise, Mike specializes in diagnosing complex issues, performing critical repairs, and minimizing downtime. His commitment to preventative maintenance and quality workmanship helps ensure crews have the equipment they need to stay productive and keep projects moving forward.

As a lifelong Alaskan, Mike understands the challenges that weather, terrain, and remote operations can place on equipment. Known for his dependability, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail, he takes pride in keeping the fleet ready for whatever the job demands and ensuring the team can operate with confidence.
